Corporate event photography in Stockholm: on-site coverage with full image rights

If you're an event organizer, office manager, or communications lead searching for an event photographer in Stockholm, you've probably noticed that most photographer websites don't answer the questions you actually have. You want to know: can they come to us, do we own the images, how fast do we get them, and how much does it cost? Here are the answers.

·

The short version

Yes, I come to you. Yes, you get full image rights. Delivery in 1–2 days. Starting at 2,000 SEK for two hours, excluding VAT. No hidden fees for usage, licensing, or digital downloads.

If that covers what you need to know, book a free consultation and we'll sort out the details. If you want the longer version, keep reading.

What "full image rights" actually means

This is the question I get most from corporate clients, and the one most photographers are vaguest about.

When I deliver event photos, you — the person or company who booked the session — receive full usage rights. That means you can use the images for anything related to your own business: your website, social media, internal communications, press releases, annual reports, printed materials, presentations. No additional licensing fees. No per-use charges. No restrictions on where or how many times you publish them.

What you're getting is a perpetual, unlimited license to use the images for your own business purposes. I retain the copyright (which is standard under Swedish law and how most professional photographers operate), but that doesn't limit what you can do with the images for your own use.

What's not included: third-party commercial use. If someone who appears in your event photos — an influencer, a speaker, a guest — wants to give that image to another company for their advertising, that's a separate commercial license. The usage rights belong to you, the client who booked the session. They don't transfer to third parties who want to use the images commercially.

To give a concrete example: if I photograph your product launch and an influencer is in some of the photos, you can use those images anywhere for your brand. But if that influencer sends one of the photos to a different company who puts it in a paid ad, that company needs a commercial license from me. This has happened, and it's the kind of situation that's easy to prevent with a quick conversation upfront.

If your event involves influencers, brand ambassadors, or public figures whose images might end up in third-party campaigns, let me know during the consultation. We can set up the right licensing from the start so nobody gets surprised afterward.

What's included in corporate event coverage

Pre-event planning. Before the event, we align on the timeline: when to arrive, key moments to capture, VIP guests or speakers to prioritize, any specific shots you need (stage setup, branding elements, group photos). This conversation takes fifteen to twenty minutes and prevents the most common event photography failures: missed speeches, wrong people photographed, important moments undocumented.

On-site documentary coverage. I stay in the background and shoot what actually happens. Speeches, reactions, conversations, networking, the details that make your event recognizable. I don't direct people around or stage moments unless you specifically want group photos or posed shots, which we plan in advance.

Professional editing. Every delivered image is colour-corrected, exposure-adjusted, and quality-checked. Consistent grading across the full set so the images look cohesive whether you use them on your website, in a presentation, or on social media.

Fast delivery. 1–2 days for standard events. The edited images go into a private online gallery where your team can browse, select favourites, and download high-resolution files. Rush delivery (same day or next morning) is available for an additional fee if you need images for a press release or social post right away.

Full image rights. Included. No extra licensing fees.

Extra time: 850 SEK per started hour.

Late-night surcharge: 1,000 SEK flat fee for events running past 22:00.

Travel within Stockholm: Included. Outside Stockholm billed at the Swedish Tax Agency's standard mileage rate.

The quote I give you after the consultation is the final price. No surprise fees for editing, gallery access, downloads, or usage rights.

Can you also do headshots on-site?

Yes. This is one of the most common requests I get from companies: "We have an event next month, but we also need updated headshots for the team. Can we do both?"

The setup is simple. I arrive thirty to sixty minutes before the event with a portable backdrop and lighting. Team members cycle through one at a time, each headshot takes about five minutes. Then I pack the portrait gear and switch to event coverage for the rest of the day.

On-site headshots pricing: Same portrait rates apply. Individual headshots at 1,500 SEK per hour (covers roughly 6–8 people per hour), group sessions at 2,000 SEK per hour. Combined with event coverage, I'll quote it as one project and the total is usually less than booking two separate sessions.

The headshots get the same treatment: consistent editing, private gallery, full usage rights, delivery in 3–4 days.

What types of corporate events I cover

Over the last 13 years I've covered a wide range of corporate work in Stockholm:

Conferences and seminars. Multi-speaker events, panel discussions, keynotes. I know where to stand to get both the speaker and the audience reaction, and how to handle presentation slides without blowing out the exposure.

Product launches and brand activations. Coverage that balances the product, the people, and the atmosphere. Images optimised for both press use and social media.

Company parties and mingles. The events where nothing is scripted and the photographer needs to find the real moments. Gatsby parties, holiday celebrations, after-work events, team gatherings.

Award ceremonies and galas. Formal settings with stage lighting, speeches, and VIP guests. I've covered TV show premieres and similar events where discretion and speed both matter.

Team days and company offsites. Relaxed documentation of workshops, team-building activities, and informal moments. These photos end up on the intranet and in recruitment materials, so they need to look natural, not staged.

Board meetings and executive events. Smaller, quieter events where the photographer needs to be invisible. Clean documentation with minimal disruption.

What to expect from the process

Frequently asked questions

Yes, for the client who books the session. You receive full usage rights to use the images across your website, social media, press materials, presentations, annual reports, and print without additional licensing fees. This covers all use by you or your company. It does not cover third-party commercial use, so if someone in the photos (an influencer, speaker, or guest) gives an image to a different company for their advertising, that company needs a separate commercial license. Daniel retains copyright per Swedish law. If your event involves influencers or brand ambassadors, discuss licensing during the free consultation to avoid issues.

Yes. Daniel Ahlberg can set up a portable headshot station before the event, photograph team members individually, then switch to event coverage. Headshots are billed at portrait rates (1,500 SEK/hour for individuals, approximately 6–8 people per hour). Combined bookings are quoted as one project and typically cost less than two separate sessions.

Standard delivery is 1–2 days after the event. All images go through professional editing and colour grading before delivery via a private online gallery. Rush delivery (same day or next morning) is available for an additional fee, mention this when booking if you need images for a press release or social media post right away.

Two to three weeks for most corporate events. Summer (June through August) and December book up faster, so plan four to six weeks ahead for those months. Last-minute bookings are possible sometimes. Contact Daniel as early as you can to secure your date.

Share the event timeline, key moments to capture (speeches, award presentations, group photos), any VIP guests or speakers to prioritize, venue layout if available, and what the images will be used for. This pre-event planning takes about fifteen minutes and significantly improves the quality and relevance of the delivered images.
